Description
In Allegheny County, a Certified Pool Operator is required to visit the pool daily. This class covers topics such as Disease and Accident Prevention, Hot Water Care, Pool Management, Codes, Pool Calculations, Water Chemistry, Water Testing, Filtration, Recirculation, Maintenance, Seasonal Care and Operational Problems. A grade of 75% on the test and full attendance is required to pass. State issued photo ID is required for testing. Fee includes Class, Text Book, Exam and Certification.
If choosing the Blended (online + 1 Day class) Option, fee also includes access to the Pool Operator Primer Online course.
Please note: This class is NOT the same as Category 24 Swimming Pool Pesticide certification. That is a separate exam(s) administered by the PA Department of Agriculture.
Our CPO classes may earn certified pesticide applicators continuing education credits (up to 6 core/4 category 24).
