For over 20 years, B&R Pools and Swim Shop has been conducting the PHTA Certified Pool/Spa Operator and PA Pesticide Applicator Certification courses to Western PA swimming pool professionals. These certifications are required to operate a commercial swimming pool in Pennsylvania, and B&R Pools is proud to have educated more pool operators than anyone else in the State.

Pool Operator Certification
Bringing our one-stop-shop philosophy to your education needs, you can obtain the Allegheny County Bathing Place Manager certificate at the same time as the CPO accreditation when you take your class at the B&R Aquatic Education Center. And if you’re a PA Pesticide Applicator, you may also obtain continuing education credits required to maintain your pesticide applicator certification.
