In Pennsylvania, you will also need to pass Core and Category 24 Swimming Pool Pest Management exams administered by the PA Department of Agriculture to add chlorine, bromine, and algaecide to a commercial swimming pool. This is a SEPARATE certification from Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO). We offer a review session and host the Dept of Agriculture for examination in the Pesticide Review class.
