This certification is required in conjunction with the CPO in order to operate a commercial pool within Allegheny County. The presentation & testing is part of the CPO class.
The Rules and Regulations of Article IX will be covered, and all students will be given a copy of Article IX for their facility.
A short (approximately 25 question) quiz will be administered covering the requirements of Article IX. The quiz will be graded off-site and you will be notified of a pass/fail status.
After passing the CPO, you must subsequently apply to the Allegheny County Health Department for the Bathing Place Manager certificate and pay a fee for the 5-year certification.
